In all my years playing guitar for some reason ( proberbly money ) i never seemed to
get round to thinking of buying a gibson Les Paul. I used to pick one up every once in a blue moon in our local guitar shop for a little strum or two and always remember how heavy they felt compaired to my own guitar not realising then that this had a lot to do with the diference in quality of wood of a gibson and my much cheeper guitar. Anyway early last year i was just sitting around looking at stuff on the internet when i came across an artical about the big flood in nashville in 2010 and how it had done so much damage to the gibson factory which in turn took gibson some time to get back onto its feet and start producing guitars again. One year later they produced the Gibson Les Paul flood aniversary limited edition and O yes i had to have one which took some explaining to my better half but being so great that she is my wish was granted and she got me one for my birthday...How cool is that. I know that the finish on this guitar is not every ones cup of tea but to be honest i love it this is a fantastic guitar to play. Of all guitars ive had and now own for great versitility and feel this is my first choice every time.
